AutoWindscreens national contact centre, based in Chesterfield, is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our systems, including our 'intelligent questioning' approach, mean that the correct parts, people and equipment are assigned to each job. Each job has an incident response level, according to the urgency and severity of the situation.
Fast, Efficient Distribution
We have a centrally located warehouse in Birmingham, with others in Glasgow and Belfast, to ensure same-day delivery of our full range of automotive glass to anywhere in the UK.
Continuous Innovation
We're always introducing new techniques that help us deal quickly and efficiently with any automotive glazing problem. Some of our recent innovations include robotic lifting devices, wet weather canopies and a revolutionary windscreen 'glue' that will set even in damp and freezing conditions.
An extra pair of hands
As vehicles evolve and glazing becomes heavier and more complex, we have introduced special robotic lifting devices to deal with more complicated windscreen replacements. The devices mean that only one person is needed when dealing with a particularly heavy or large piece of glass.
Staying dry in the wet
Retractable covers fitted to many of our mobile service units allow our mobile technicians to complete windscreen repairs or replacements at the scene, even in wet weather.
Our Factory
We manufacture 870 different types of windscreen at our factory in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. Our cutting edge technology includes a sophisticated bending furnace and the latest in laminating techniques. This enables us to manufacture our own laminated windscreens giving us complete control over our supply chain and stock availability. All our work is carried out with rigorous safety checks at every stage.
